MIRTEC Wins Circuits Assembly's 2008 New Product Introduction Award
Palo Alto, Calif. — June 13, 2006 — Frost & Sullivan selected MIRTEC as the recipient of the 2006 Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Quality Leadership in the surface & mount technology (SMT) benchtop equipment market for developing a desktop automated optical inspection (AOI) model with superior defect coverage and exceptional support services.
MIRTEC has earned a reputation in the AOI equipment market for high quality, repeatability, and exceptional service. The company offers reliable products with robust and easy-to-use designs. Some of its products include inline AOI machines used for high volume production and desktop AOI as well as X-ray inspection equipment for checking array packages such as ball grid arrays (BGAs) and flip chips (FCs) among others.
However, the company is certainly not resting on its laurels, as is evident from its next-generation AOI machines that are an improvement on the existing ones. The new AOI machines offer five high-resolution cameras that provide a view from the top as well as from four different angles to give a holistic view of the board. |
